Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Kite website and services, including Kite Updraft. Kite is a product of Kaplex Industries Inc., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (incorporation no. BC1599302), of 212–1939 Lee Avenue, Victoria, BC V8R 4W9, Canada. By using this site, requesting an audit or booking a call, you agree to these terms.

What Kite is

Kite is a measurement and optimization service for AI visibility. It assesses how AI assistants and search engines represent a business and helps improve that visibility using legitimate methods.

Kite Updraft is Kite’s paid advertising service. We set up and manage Google Ads for your business, track the ads through to the work they bring in, and report on them.

Kite Updraft

Kite Updraft has its own Kite Updraft Terms of Service. If they differ from this section, those terms apply to Kite Updraft.

Your account, your spend. Your ads run in a Google Ads account that you own. Google bills your ad spend directly to your own payment method. Our fees are separate, and we never add a markup to your ad spend.

What we change, and what you approve. We make routine changes that stop money being wasted, such as blocking searches that will not hire you and pausing keywords that spend with nothing to show, and we log each one. Changes that raise your spend, such as a higher budget, new keywords or new ads, need your approval first. We never go over the monthly cap you set.

Your part. You are responsible for giving us accurate information about your business, for holding any licences needed for the work you advertise, for the claims in ads you approve, and for following up with the leads your ads bring in.

Google’s rules. Ads must follow Google’s advertising policies. Google decides whether ads run and can reject ads or restrict accounts. We work to keep your account in good standing, but we are not responsible for Google’s decisions.

Fees and cancelling. Fees, the billing schedule and how to cancel are set out in your Kite Updraft service agreement. If that agreement and these terms ever disagree, the service agreement wins.

We don’t promise results

AI systems, search engines and ad platforms are controlled by third parties and change constantly. We do not promise any specific ranking, placement, recommendation or outcome, or any number of leads, calls or booked jobs from advertising. We report what we measure and work to improve it, but results vary.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site, in a Kite report or in a Kite Updraft report is financial, legal or professional advice. It is informational only. You are responsible for your own business decisions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site or attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer it. We use only legitimate, platform-compliant methods and expect the same in return.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kaplex Industries Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or services. The services are provided “as is.”

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
