Kite Updraft Terms of Service

Last updated: October 20, 2026

These terms govern Kite Updraft, the paid advertising service of Kite, and the Kite Updraft page. Kite is a product of Kaplex Industries Inc. (“Kaplex”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada (incorporation no. BC1599302), of 212–1939 Lee Avenue, Victoria, BC V8R 4W9, Canada. By booking a call or using Kite Updraft, you agree to these terms.

1. Your service agreement comes first

If you become a client, your written Kite Updraft service agreement sets out your plan, fees, billing schedule, term and how to cancel. If that agreement and these terms ever differ, the agreement wins.

2. What Kite Updraft is

We set up and run Google Ads for your business. That includes conversion tracking on calls and forms, so ad leads arrive in your Kaplex station with their source; blocking searches that will never hire you; ads made from photos of your real jobs; Google’s call button, so people can call from the ad and those calls are counted; automated checks of your account through the day; and a plain-English report. We do not record calls and we do not use tracked phone numbers.

3. Your account, your spend

Your ads run in a Google Ads account that you own. Google bills your ad spend directly to your own card. Our fees are separate, and we never add a markup to your ad spend. You stay responsible to Google for the ad spend in your account.

4. What we do, and what you approve

What we handle. We make routine changes that stop money being wasted, such as blocking searches that will not hire you and pausing keywords that spend with nothing to show. We check your spend, searches, tracking and conversions through the day, and your calendar if you use budget planning around it. When the report is connected for your account, we tell Google which clicks became real jobs. We log each change so you can see it.

What you approve. Anything that costs more needs your approval first. That includes raising or lowering your daily budget, and new keywords and new ads. Anything that would go over your monthly cap is never automatic. We suggest these changes and you decide.

5. How we use AI

Kite Updraft is run with the help of AI. We use Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, to review your ads, draft new ads, keywords and the searches to block, and make the routine changes described in section 4. The AI works only within the rules you approved: it does not raise your budget, add keywords or ads that cost more, or go over your monthly cap without your approval. We review its work and log every change. What the AI reads, and who processes it, is set out in the Kite Updraft Privacy Policy.

6. Your part

You agree to:

  • give us accurate information about your business, your service area and the work you want;
  • hold any licences needed for the work you advertise;
  • check the ads and claims you approve, and only give us photos and content you have the right to use;
  • follow up with the leads your ads bring in, and tap “contacted” when you have called a lead back;
  • make sure your website and your own privacy notice tell your customers that you use Google Ads tracking, and that you are allowed to have us handle your leads’ information on your behalf. We can help you set this up.

7. Access to your accounts

You give us manager access to your Google Ads account, and, if you choose, access to your Google Analytics and calendar. We use that access only to run and report on your ads, as described in the Kite Updraft Privacy Policy. You can remove our access at any time. Once it is removed we can no longer run or check your ads.

8. Google’s rules

Ads must follow Google’s advertising policies. Google decides whether ads run, and can reject ads or restrict accounts. We work to keep your account in good standing, but Google’s decisions are Google’s, not ours.

9. We don’t promise numbers

How fast jobs come depends on your trade, your area and your budget, and Google’s systems change constantly. We do not promise any number of clicks, calls, leads or booked jobs, any ranking or placement, or any return on your ad spend. Example figures on our pages use made-up businesses. Your screen shows what your ads actually did.

10. Ownership

Your Google Ads account, its history, your leads and your business information are yours. Our tools, our tracking system and our station software stay ours. You let us use the photos and content you give us to make and run your ads while we work together.

11. Not professional advice

Our reports and suggestions are information to help you decide. They are not financial, legal or tax advice, and you remain responsible for your own business decisions.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Kaplex Industries Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the Kite Updraft page or service, including lost profits or lost business. The page is provided “as is”. Your service agreement may set out further limits.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above shows the current version. Changes to a client’s service are made under that client’s service agreement.

14. Contact and governing law

Questions? Contact Kaplex Industries Inc., 212–1939 Lee Avenue, Victoria, BC V8R 4W9, Canada, or email info@kaplexindustries.com. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
